I have been teaching drums professionally for 15 years and currently work at Norwich School where I give about 20 lessons each week.
Topics covered include technique, rudiments, coordination, music reading, improvisation, groove, timekeeping and kit maintenance/set-up. Styles taught include rock, pop, blues, funk, jazz, motown, world, hip-hop, R&B, show and many others.
Many of my pupils have taken graded drum-kit exams from LCM and Rockschool syllabuses. A lot of them play in local gigging bands.
I offer one-to-one drum lessons at Anglia Drum Centre, Norwich. I cover all levels of players, from beginners to advanced, and all lessons are tailored to the individual's needs. Get in touch for details.
