I have been teaching drums professionally for 15 years and currently work in 2 schools in Norwich where I give about 50 lessons each week.
Topics covered include technique, rudiments, coordination, music reading, improvisation, groove, timekeeping and kit maintenance. Styles taught include rock, pop, blues, funk, jazz, motown, world, hip-hop, R&B, show and many others.
Many of my pupils have taken graded drum-kit exams from LCM and Rockschool syllabuses. A lot of them also play in local gigging bands.
I am occasionally able to offer private drum lessons in your own home. If you are serious about drumming, live within 15 miles of Norwich, and have a drum-kit at home, get in touch for details. I cover all levels of players, from beginners to advanced, and all lessons are tailored to the individual's needs.
